Psychology Program Details

Designed for ambitious students like you, UWO’s psychology major connects with a wide range of disciplines, helping you build diverse, transferable skills that can set you apart in many fields.

The psychology major at UW–Oshkosh offers a high level of customization, allowing you to tailor your academic path to your interests and goals. While you’ll complete 120 total credits to graduate, the psychology major itself requires just 36 credits, divided into:

  • Required courses (12 credits)
  • Perspective courses (12 credits)
  • Capstone courses (3 credits)
  • Psychology electives (additional credits to reach the 36 credits minimum)
