Benefits
Every graduate is welcome to take advantage of UW-Oshkosh alumni events, benefits and services as a member of the Alumni Association.
There is no Alumni Association membership fee and you automatically become a member after graduation.
Alumni Association Core Benefits:
- A free email account (New grads — make sure to get yours within six weeks of graduation!)
- Monthly alumni news updates (Update your contact info to receive them)
- Access to free alumni events throughout the year
- 10% alumni discount at University Books & More (In-store only, not eligible for electronics, textbooks or gift cards, cannot be combined with any other offer.)

- Career services resources
- Polk Library and Albee Pool access
- Various alumni discounts on accommodations (check with your hotel when booking)
- Access to our award winning Advance-Titan student newspaper
Career & Professional Development offers complimentary career services to alumni for one year following graduation, along with free, ongoing access to Handshake for all UW–Oshkosh alumni.
Through Handshake, alumni can:
- View job and internship openings
- Upload resumes and cover letters
- Create job alerts
- Access GoinGlobal (global career research and skill development)
- Use VMock for resume feedback, resume optimization, personal pitch development, and mock interview practice
Alumni are eligible to schedule one-on-one career advising appointments for up to one year after graduation by scheduling through Handshake or by contacting the office for assistance.
Alumni are also welcome to:
- Visit the Career & Professional Development office to use the computer lab or receive assistance with Handshake
- Attend any Career & Professional Development workshops (registration available through Handshake)
- Participate in career fairs held each semester
Recent alumni may also access the Career Closet for up to one year following graduation by visiting during regular office hours.

Learning in Retirement at Evergreen (Partnership with UW-Oshkosh):
Keep yourself sharp, active and involved. Learning in Retirement (LIR) is a member directed adult learning group promoting lifelong learning for older adults. Visit EvergreenOshkosh.com/learning-in-retirement/ to learn more.
60+ Auditors
Wisconsin residents (as defined by Wisconsin Statute 36.27(2)) who are 60 years of age or older (by the start of the semester/term) may audit classes for free, on a space available basis, in courses that are open to auditors and special students. Contact the Admissions Office for more information at (920) 424-3164.
Polk Library
Alumni have access to Polk Library privileges. Get your library card at the first-floor circulation desk with your driver’s license and proof of residence such as an electric bill or other item that includes a home address.
The library card entitles you to check out printed books only and one hour of use per day on the second floor computers. You may also bring your laptop or phone and connect to our Guest Wifi with no time limitations. There is no access to library services from off campus. There is no access to e-books, nor check out of non-book materials such as CDs.

Albee Pool
Alumni are eligible to use the Albee Pool after a membership is purchased for $25 per semester at the Student Rec and Wellness Center. An Affiliate TitanCard (different from a Alumni TitanCard) also will need to be purchased at Titan Central for $20 (one time fee) to gain access to the pool. Please bring your receipt for the pool membership to Titan Central to purchase the affiliate card.

Show your card to receive:
- Free admission to Titan Night at Oshkosh Waterfest each summer
- Free admission to select Athletic events
- Option to purchase a $10 per/day pass to the Student Recreation and Wellness Center (The day-pass provides unlimited access to all facility spaces and on-site equipment including use of the climbing wall and group exercise classes when available. Golf simulator usage does require an additional $10/person/hour fee. No guests of alumni will be allowed. Day passes are available during all hours of operation at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.)
