Enrolling in the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Cooperative Academic Partnership Program (CAPP) courses is a convenient and affordable way for high school students to earn concurrent high school and college credit, while developing key skills for future success. Accredited Program
UW Oshkosh CAPP is the only concurrent enrollment program in Wisconsin accredited through the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) – a professional organization for high schools and colleges that fosters and supports rigorous concurrent enrollment. NACEP is the sole accrediting body for concurrent enrollment programs that advances quality college courses in the high schools and helps these programs adhere to the highest standards so students experience a seamless transition to college and teachers benefit from meaningful, ongoing professional development.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you are taking a CAPP-eligible class at your high school, you will need to first Apply, then Register to fully sign up for the class.
If you are a high school student and meet at least one of these requirements, you are eligible to enroll in CAPP courses:
- You are in the upper 30 percentile of your class.
- You have a GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4 point scale.

If you decide to drop a course, you must notify your instructor and counselor before the 28th day of the UW Oshkosh semester. Contact your instructor for the specific date. You must also submit the necessary UW Oshkosh paperwork to drop from the college course.
High school teachers with a graduate degree are approved by the respective UW Oshkosh academic department. These teachers work cooperatively with UW Oshkosh liaison professors to design and implement the CAPP course.
Upon completion of a CAPP course, you will receive a grade based upon your cumulative effort.
With Advanced Placement (AP), a particular grade on a final standardized test determines if college credits are awarded. Different universities have different grade requirements. In both cases, you will receive high school Carnegie units required for graduation.
Tuition is based upon the number of credit hours for a particular course. Different courses range from 1 to 5 credits. The per-credit tuition amount is determined by the University of Wisconsin System and changes annually but is never more than half of the on-campus tuition cost. Each school district establishes its own policy relative to student payment of tuition and books.

As a CAPP student, you are eligible for a UW Oshkosh Titan Card and are encouraged to use the Polk Library facilities and computer labs when they are available. Due to CAPP’s reduced tuition, the Student Rec and Wellness Center is not available to CAPP students.
The grades earned are considered dual credit; high school and university. Your university grade is recorded on a transcript using this scale:
A grade of a “C” or better is necessary for most credit transfers.
