Zoom Recordings & Storage Zoom
Zoom Recordings & Storage Zoom recordings are automatically deleted after 180 days. To keep them long-term, download your recording from Zoom and upload it to Kaltura (My Media), UWO’s media management tool. Kaltura preserves recordings for the foreseeable future.
Zoom License Renewal
Zoom License Renewal Every 180 days, your Zoom university license automatically converts to Zoom Meetings Basic, which adds a time limit to your meetings. To fix or prevent this, log in to the Wisconsin Zoom Dashboard with your NetID to refresh your license for another 180 days.
Note: Accessing Zoom through your Canvas course navigation link does not renew your license.
