We are excited to have you back as part of the UW\u2013Oshkosh community. Your next steps are displayed below. Start with Step 1 and work your way through the list to prepare yourself to start classes again at UWO!<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"Accordion\">\n  \n\n<div class=\"AccordionItem\">\n  <h3 class=\"AccordionItem__heading\">\n    <button class=\"AccordionItem__toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n              Step 1: Activate your NetID and Access Your Student Email          <\/button>\n  <\/h3>\n  <div class=\"AccordionItem__content\">\n    <div class=\"AccordionItem__interior\">\n      \n\n<div class=\"Common\">\n  \n\n<p>Log into your email at <a href=\"https:\/\/outlook.com\/uwosh.edu\">outlook.com\/uwosh.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Be sure to check your email often. Many departments will only communicate with you through this address.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your NetID is used as a login for computer labs on campus, to access the Canvas system, to sign up for housing, to access the WiFi, to utilize your My UWO Portal and as a login for various websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you can use your NetID, the account must be activated. This can be accomplished by logging in to a UW\u2013Oshkosh computer or navigating to <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.office.com\">https:\/\/portal.office.com<\/a> and attempting to sign in there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To activate your NetID account:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.office.com\/\">https:\/\/portal.office.com\/<\/a> on your personal device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type in your university email address, NetID@uwosh.edu, and click Next or press the Enter key.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type in your 7-digit campus ID number in the Password field. Click Next or press the Enter key.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will then be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication. For help with setting up your MFA, <a href=\"https:\/\/uwosh.atlassian.net\/wiki\/spaces\/IT\/pages\/2080800778\/Enrolling+in+Microsoft+Multi-Factor+Authentication\">read this article<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After setting up MFA, you will be taken to a screen where you can change your password.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reenter your 7-digit campus ID number in the current password field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type in a new password that meets the following requirements:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>14 characters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 3 of the 4 following types:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Uppercase<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lowercase<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Special Character<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cannot contain the username<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cannot be the same as your old password.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat the password you just typed in.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Forget Your Password or Having Trouble Logging In?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Contact UW Oshkosh\u2019s IT help desk at (920) 424-3020. Please make sure to have your student ID number available before calling.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"AccordionItem\">\n  <h3 class=\"AccordionItem__heading\">\n    <button class=\"AccordionItem__toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n              Step 2: Schedule an Appointment for Academic Advising          <\/button>\n  <\/h3>\n  <div class=\"AccordionItem__content\">\n    <div class=\"AccordionItem__interior\">\n      \n\n<div class=\"Common\">\n  \n\n<p>Admitted re-entry students are eligible to meet with academic advisors in the Undergraduate Advising Resource Center (UARC). Please call the UARC at (920) 424-1268 to set up an appointment. If you are a student re-entering on probation, you are required to meet with a UARC advisor before you can enroll in classes. You will be scheduled to meet with an appropriate adviser for your college and major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you are a student re-entering on probation, you are required to meet with an academic advisor before you can enroll in classes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please log into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwosh.edu\/registrar\/titanweb\/\">TitanWeb<\/a> to access your Academic Advisement Report (degree audit report) and bring a copy with you to your advising appointment.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"AccordionItem\">\n  <h3 class=\"AccordionItem__heading\">\n    <button class=\"AccordionItem__toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n              Step 3: Locate enrollment date and enroll in classes          <\/button>\n  <\/h3>\n  <div class=\"AccordionItem__content\">\n    <div class=\"AccordionItem__interior\">\n      \n\n<div class=\"Common\">\n  \n\n<p>UWO students receive an enrollment date for each term. Students are not able to enroll for a given semester until their enrollment date. Students are assigned an enrollment date based on the number of earned credits. Students can find their enrollment appointment listed in their TitanWeb account under Enrollment Dates on the right hand side. Be sure to click on the \u201cDetails\u201d link to see your enrollment date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you are able to register for your courses prior to your scheduled advising appointment, it is recommended that you sign up for courses and then finalize your course selections with your advisor during your appointment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you register for classes without meeting with an advisor, it is still in your best interest to follow up with an advisor to confirm that your selected courses are going to help you achieve your desired educational path and meet specified requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For further instruction on how to register for your courses, please refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwosh.edu\/registrar\/students\/titanweb-help\/\">TitanWeb Help for Students page<\/a> created by the Registrar\u2019s Office. If you are unable to find the help you need on this page, please call the Registrar\u2019s Office at (920) 424-3454.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"AccordionItem\">\n  <h3 class=\"AccordionItem__heading\">\n    <button class=\"AccordionItem__toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n              Step 4: Review UWO&#8217;s housing policy and apply for housing, if required          <\/button>\n  <\/h3>\n  <div class=\"AccordionItem__content\">\n    <div class=\"AccordionItem__interior\">\n      \n\n<div class=\"Common\">\n  \n\n<p><strong>The Wisconsin Board of Regents\u2019 Housing Policy states that all students MUST live on campus unless they meet one of the following requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Earned at least 48 credits by the first day of classes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lived on campus for four semesters (includes previous schools).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Will be 21 years old by the first day of class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commuting from a parent or legal guardian\u2019s permanent home located within 45 miles of UW\u2013Oshkosh.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Married, veteran or single parent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On Campus Living<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you will be living on campus, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/my.housing.uwosh.edu\/\">apply for housing online<\/a>. Please be aware that you must have already secured your spot in the incoming class (step one) in order to begin your housing process. Visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.housing.uwosh.edu\/\">Residence Life website<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"AccordionItem\">\n  <h3 class=\"AccordionItem__heading\">\n    <button class=\"AccordionItem__toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n              Step 5: Submit your FAFSA          <\/button>\n  <\/h3>\n  <div class=\"AccordionItem__content\">\n    <div class=\"AccordionItem__interior\">\n      \n\n<div class=\"Common\">\n  \n\n<p>File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/\">studentaid.gov<\/a> as soon as possible to be considered for financial aid. The UWO school code is 003920.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"AccordionItem\">\n  <h3 class=\"AccordionItem__heading\">\n    <button class=\"AccordionItem__toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n              Step 6: Apply for Parking          <\/button>\n  <\/h3>\n  <div class=\"AccordionItem__content\">\n    <div class=\"AccordionItem__interior\">\n      \n\n<div class=\"Common\">\n  \n\n<p>Purchase a commuter parking permit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwosh.edu\/parking\/\">here<\/a>. Commuter student parking is guaranteed. If you\u2019re living in the residence halls, you will be sent a parking permit application from the Parking Services Office prior to the start of the semester.
